All Avon-on-the-Lake General Meetings will be held at the Avon Lake Public Library (32649 Electric Blvd. Avon Lake), unless otherwise noted. Social time from 11- 11:30pm. Lunch is served at 1l:30pm with General Meeting at 12:00pm. Programs begin at 1:00pm.
Visitors are welcome to attend the presentations described in the meeting posts, but you must register for the event through the library calendar in order to attend. Programs will begin at 1:00 p.m. unless otliherwise noted. Go to the Avon Lake Public Library website at alpl.org and click on Programs. Do a keyword search for Avon Lake Garden Club.
All general meeting programs are held in the Waugaman Gallery. from 1:00pm- 2:00pm unless otherwise noted.

October 3, 2026 Program: Lake Erie Restoration Lake Erie Commission Joy Mulinex A summary of the work that the Ohio Lake Erie Commission does to protect and restore Lake Erie and it’s watershed from addressing harmful algal blooms to delisting areas of concern. Potluck Luncheon
November 5, 2026 Program: Decorating with Nature Anne Lyon Demonstration on how to create a wreath with pine cones and other natural materials. Club members will be able to create their own wreath.
December 3, 2026 Program: CRS and ALGC Joint Gardening Impact Ryan Virtue General Meeting and Christmas Luncheon Veranda Birstro Bar 32045 Detroit Road Avon, OH 44011 11:00am Doors Open 11:30am Luncheon The Executive Director will talk about the ALGC Garden Programs with CRS clients and will tell us how CRS impacts the needs of their clients and our community.
